1. The service
wayvl is a free tool that runs in your web browser and turns an audio clip into a waveform video. It is provided as is, with no guarantee that it will be available, error free, or suitable for any particular purpose.
2. You own your content
Everything you put into wayvl stays yours. Audio, images and text you supply are processed only inside your own browser, are never uploaded, and no licence of any kind is granted to me or to anyone else. The videos you export are yours to use however you like, including commercially.
3. You are responsible for what you make
By using wayvl you confirm that you have the rights to the audio, images and text you put into it, and that what you create does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use wayvl to make or distribute anything illegal. That includes material that infringes intellectual property rights, content that is defamatory or harassing, sexual content involving minors, and anything that breaks the law where you are.
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities in a way that affects other people, or resell access to it as if it were your own service.
5. No liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of wayvl, including lost work, lost files, corrupted exports, missed deadlines, or any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Because processing happens on your own device, results depend on your browser, hardware and available memory. Keep your original audio. wayvl holds no copy of it.
6. Advertising and third parties
wayvl is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads and any sites they link to are not under my control, and I do not endorse them. See the privacy policy for how advertising data is handled.
7. Changes
These terms can change. The date at the top of the page shows when they last did. Continuing to use wayvl after a change means you accept the new version.
